The firm
Quality charter
This charter sets out what you are entitled to expect from the firm. It is public because a commitment the client cannot verify binds no one.
Last updated on 20 September 2026.
1. We answer within a stated time
Every enquiry — form, email, call or appointment request — receives an acknowledgement within 24 working hours. That acknowledgement carries a file reference and the deadline for our substantive reply.
The substantive reply follows within 24 to 48 working hours depending on complexity. Where a longer period is needed, we tell you before the deadline, with the reason and the new date.
Working hours are our actual opening hours, with Senegalese public holidays deducted. An enquiry sent late on a Friday is not counted as though the firm worked on Sunday.
2. You know the cost before the work
No engagement begins without an accepted prior quote. The quote states the scope, the deliverable, the timeframe and the amount. Any additional work requires a fresh written agreement.
3. You follow your file without asking
Every client has a personal area showing the real state of their file, the documents uploaded, the instruments delivered and the invoices issued. Each step triggers a notification. You never have to call to find out where your matter stands.
4. We write down what we do
Every opinion is reasoned and cites the texts it rests on. Where the law is uncertain or the case law divided, we say so rather than deciding for you to be reassuring.
5. We stay within our scope
The firm advises, drafts and supports. It does not provide court representation or acts reserved to regulated professions. Where your matter requires it, we prepare the file and refer you to the competent professional — before costs are incurred, not after.
6. Your data is protected
Case documents are encrypted, accessible only to those assigned to your matter, and every access is logged. We collect only the data the engagement requires, and delete it once the applicable retention periods expire.
7. Your complaints are handled
Every complaint addressed to the firm receives an acknowledgement, a reasoned reply within fifteen working days, and, where founded, a recorded corrective action. Complaint handling is reviewed quarterly.
To raise a complaint, write to us quoting your file reference. A complaint never affects how your matter is handled.
8. We measure how well we keep these commitments
Acknowledgement times, reply times and complaint handling times are measured file by file. A failure is recorded as such, including where no complaint was made.
